Black/Grey Phosphated Good Quality Bugle Head Drywall Screw
Drywall screws are used to fix things in place inside a wall with drywall, especially where a nail would not work. These include things like lighting fixtures, outlet covers, shelves, wire and cable management systems, and anything else you would want to attach inside a wall. Drywall screws should not be used for load-bearing items like a door or a shelf that has a lot of weight on it. Drywall screws are also used for hanging items on the wall like artwork, mirrors, and TV mounts. This is when you would use a "no-drywall screw." No-drywall screws have a wide screw head and a small threaded tip. They have no sharp points and are smooth around the outside so they don't press into the drywall. These are generally easier to insert and remove without leaving a mark. Another use for no-drywall screws is when you don't want to go into the drywall when hanging something. If you have a wall without drywall or a wood or concrete wall, or you just don't want to risk damaging the drywall, you can use no-drywall screws.
